Marie was born in Cap-Hatien, Haiti. She came to this country in 1969. She grew up in Brooklyn, NY. She has worked as a chemical/environmental engineer, vocational counselor, and presently as a math instructor with a local Community College. Marie also is a minister of the Gospel and serves as an elder in her church. She is very passionate about the things of God and is also very passionate about the plight of the Haitian people in her native homeland.
